Did you know, that horses can smell water?

You might wonder how this could work?
Clean water can’t be smelled, can it?
Horses however, have a different sense of smell.
With their fine nose they can even smell water at a long distance.

In the past this ability was utilized by the Bedouins when they were travelling in the desert. They left it to the horses to find the next watering hole.
